Susan Badia, J.D. and Chief Executive Officer of XGen Pharmaceuticals DJB, honors the family legacy by building upon the core values embraced by the Company founder, Dan Badia.  In her role as the leader of a woman owned pharmaceutical company, Susan is a firm believer in inclusion, diversity, and equity in the workplace.  

Susan is responsible for continuing to build an efficient, equitable and compliant organization where all operations are performed in compliance with applicable company, State and Federal regulations and procedures.

Prior to her current leadership role, Susan spent over twenty years in various operational positions, including regulatory affairs and production/manufacturing.  During this time, Susan gained invaluable experience with oversight of day-to-day operations, all while working closely with Founder and then President, Dan Badia. Her unique and valuable experience with all aspects of XGen DJB’s business, has allowed Susan to lead the company through a period of continued growth while staying true to the company’s founding principles.

Susan attended Arizona State University where she graduated cum laude with a B.S. degree in Political Science. Susan continued her education at Pepperdine University School of Law where she was awarded her J. D. in 1990; and she is currently a member of the New York State Bar Association.
